I spend far too much time googling for various resto druid haste breakpoints and other values that I’m using while sitting in Stormwind reforging. For the sake of my own sanity, and maybe yours, here’s a quick summary.
Most of this is cribbed from the outstanding Hamlet at Elitist Jerks.
Stat Weights
I don’t believe that, as a healer, gearing rigidly around specific stat weight values is necessarily helpful, but having a stat priority to gear for certainly is. For patch 4.2, the consensus seems to be that this is the resto druid stat priority is:
Intellect >> Spellpower > Haste (to breakpoint) > Mastery > Spirit ~ Crit > Haste (between breakpoints)
Haste Breakpoints
- 916: 5th tick of rejuv with 5% haste
- 1573: 9th tick of wg/eff with dark intent
- 1602: 5th tick of rejuv unbuffed
- 1779: 6th tick of rejuv with nature’s grace procced
- 2005: 9th tick of wg/eff with 5% haste
- 2032: 6th tick of rejuv with shard of woe procced
Static Enchant Bonuses
- Head: Arcanum of Hyjal (60 intellect, 35 critical strike)
- Shoulder: Greater Inscription of Charged Lodestone (50 intellect, 25 haste rating)
- Back: Enchant Cloak – Greater Intellect (50 intellect)
- Chest: Enchant Chest – Peerless Stats (20 intellect, 20 spirit)
- Wrists: Enchant Bracer – Mighty Intellect (50 intellect)
- Hands: Enchant Gloves – Greater Mastery (65 mastery rating)
- Waist: Ebonsteel Belt Buckle with a Brilliant Inferno Ruby (40 intellect)

- Boots: Enchant Boots – Lavawalker (35 mastery rating, minor run speed)
- Mainhand: Enchant Weapon – Power Torrent (500 intellect proc)
- Offhand: Enchant Off-Hand – Superior Intellect (40 intellect)
The above list obviously does not include profession bonuses (+80 intellect, usually). The total of all of the static augments is:
- 405 intellect, plus a 500 intellect proc from power torrent
- 35 critical strike rating
- 25 haste rating
- 100 mastery rating
- 75 spirit
- 8% run speed
If you’ve been playing the game long enough, you should know not to skip the run speed enchant for any tier of content. If you haven’t been playing that long, let me give you some advice: Never skip the run speed enchant!
